Are you insured and bonded?
One of the most important questions to ask a cleaning company is if they are bonded and insured. At Kelly’s Kleaning we are bonded, insured and can provide you with proof of insurance, as well as proof of workers’ compensation insurance.
Do you conduct a background check on your employees?
These individuals will be in your home, most likely when you are not home. Knowing that the cleaning company you intend to hire provides a background check is key. At Kelly’s Kleaning we do conduct background checks before we consider an employee and have the documentation for all of our employees.
Do you bring equipment and cleaning supplies?
You want to be informed on if the residential cleaning company you are interviewing provides their own supplies and equipment. We take care of providing our own cleaning products and equipment. We offer standard cleaning products and green products and will find out from our customers which they prefer us to use. Should you ask us to use a certain type of cleaning product, we will upon request.
How will you gain access to my home?
You want to know how the cleaning company will be accessing your house, especially if you will not be at home. We let it up to the customer and whatever they are comfortable with. Some customers provide us with their garage code, a key or some people are even home. Again it is whatever our customers are comfortable with.
What should I do with my pet?
For those individuals who have pets, knowing what to do with your pet while the cleaning company is there is something you need to find out. Kelly’s Kleaning is a pet-friendly cleaning company. Very similar to how we gain access to the houses, we leave it to the owner’s discretion on if they would like to leave their pet out or crated while we are there. We do ask, if a pet is wary towards strangers, to keep your pet crated or outside while we clean.
What cleaning services are included?
Find out exactly what is covered for their residential cleaning services. Our basic cleaning service includes complete wipe down of bathroom and kitchen, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and swiffering the blinds. We do offer additional cleaning services which are available upon request.
