In honor of Valentine’s Day, I decided to do a different type of blog than my normal cleaning tips! Instead, let’s talk about ways we can love our homes! Your home is the place you spend most of your time and you want it to reflect the things you and your family enjoy the most. You also want to make sure you love it!
- Appreciate it! What is it about your home you love the most? If you’ve never thought about it, do it now. Maybe it’s enjoying a good book in your big comfy chair or having a cup of coffee on your porch. Learning to embrace the things you love about your home will help you appreciate it more and in return even keep it cleaner! (I had to get cleaning in there somewhere!) - Make it yours! Whether you love bright and vibrant colors or more neutral colors, let it show in your home! A great way to do this is by bringing those colors out in how you accessorize. The colors will tend to pop more if it’s coming from throw pillows, art or knickknacks. Even adding an accent wall is a great way for your favorite color to pop!
- Organize it! Who really enjoys living in a cluttered home? Taking the time to organize those cluttered areas will not only make your house appear cleaner but it will also help you love going into those rooms that were cluttered.
Those are just a few ways that will help you love your home more. No matter what you do to show your home that you love it always remember to follow your heart. In the end, it’s your home so make it express the type of person you are and let it show in every room.
