As the weather cools down and the leaves start to pile up, you may want to turn the heater on and sit back and watch the fall colors. When the year is starting to end there is cleaning that must be done. The upcoming winter will make it challenging to try and clean the outside of your house, so do all you can now! Check the gutters and clean out any unwanted material sitting in there, such as leaves, any branches, or even a nest that a bird may have started making for themselves. Make sure they’re not damaged and are unblocked so they can keep your roof dry and ready for the impending rain and upcoming snow to fall. With the heavy rain that PA has encountered during September most recently, you can almost bet there will be more to come.
After cleaning around the outside of your house, check the front or back porch! This is where the leaves will start to pile up so sweep them off and move things around, wipe off the railings and steps and get ready to start placing pumpkins and other Halloween decorations. The monsters will be here before you know it!
